Meet Scully!

Scully is a gorgeous and active Husky Shepherd mix.  She is only 2.5 years old. Scully has some quirks that will need to be addressed by her next family. She is a nervous dog and takes a bit of time to warm up to new people and children.  Initially she might growl a bit at new people or just keep her distance/be aloof until she has time to adjust and warm up. Her current family has another dog and children who she gets along well with. She might be fine with other dogs but her current family has not done much socializing with her.  Once she is comfortable with you she enjoys being pet and will initiate it, although she is not a cuddler. She will lay next to you and ask to be pet but won't lay her head on laps for example. She is active and enjoys walks and hikes, and getting to run. Scully enjoys her crate and will sleep in it at night. She doesn't mind being crated during the day if left alone,  but if family is home she wants to be in the yard or with her people.  

Scully is heart worm negative, spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She is house broken and crate trained. She is so well house broken that she will need help learning to go potty outside of her yard. She has gone on hikes and waited to pee until she was home. This will be something she will need to work through in a new home so she (and you) can enjoy her walks and hikes more and travel too. Scully is located in New England, and waiting for adoption. Her adoption donation is $350.

*Unless stated otherwise, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, on flea/tick product and heart worm prevention medicine (if older than 5 months) and micro chipped prior to adoption.
